My sister has been craving for pork pata all weekend, and yesterday, mom went to the market, and brought home some pata. I was the cook in charge, so I cooked it the only way I know how - pinatisan. The recipe will be shared in the coming posts.
I was a little apprehensive in serving this, but I was happy that family was able to enjoy it. I also give a thumbs up to my mom, because even if pata is considered a fatty part of the pig, she was able to choose one that had more meat. When the new year came, part of me was a bit scared with my choice of food, but considering I ate quite a lot of veggies and fish the past week, I somehow felt less guilty in eating this.
Obviously, I had to plan out the menu for the coming week to accommodate more veggies and fish.
