About

At first, I didn't think I would create a food blog, until I realized my travel blog has been mostly about my food trips. When my brother decided to update his food and travel blog, an inner voice told me maybe it was time to do a food blog.

Getting to this blog took me many months. I first started it out with my personal blog, but I find the entries so jumbled up. When Friendster switched from Typepad to Wordpress, I decided to put my blog there, and it seemed I found a nice home there, but I found out that so many services aren't allowed (java script and other codes) and that it seemed that the storage capacity is blowing up every time I log-in, so I decided to go back to Blogger.

The things written here are mostly about my food trips, but I will also share different food-related articles from the shows I watch on TV, to my own cooking. The blog title "I Live to Eat!" may sound like a glutton, but really, it's just a banner. It all started when my dad read about this article about "eating to live and not living to eat," as his way of teasing me because at that time I admit that time I am so big on foods, and every time we're at the dinner table, whenever he hands me the food, he'll go "You must eat to live..." hahahaha.

In a way, I consider this blog a tribute to my father. He's been in heaven for a year now, so I dedicate this blog to him. Love yah, dad!

I come from a family who loves cooking and eating. I never had any formal training in cooking and that I taught myself how to cook based on the handed down recipes, but I could say that I can cook good food. In 2008, I started documenting my food trips for my travel blog, and since I have quite enough to start a food blog, might as well put all those food trips in one location. Thus, a food blog is born - thanks to the new Friendster Blogs. However, due to several problems, I was left with no choice but to pack bags again and move here instead. Here's the permanent address, promise! Enough talk, let the food trippin' begin! {Know More About Me}
