Apple Cinnamon & Raisin Tea

I wasn't able to participate in ABC Wednesday / Food Quote memes in the last three weeks, and since it's a new round on ABC Wednesday, I now keep a list of what to share. If all go according to my list, I will be able to complete all 26 letters of the alphabet.

Tea Quote Twinings Tea

For letter "A," my share is a cup of "Apple, Cinnamon & Raisin" tea by Twinings of London. I actually am not a big drinker of tea, but I do welcome every chance of drinking tea because of my choice of quote -

"If you are cold, tea will warm you.
If you are too heated, it will cool you.
If you are depressed, it will cheer you.
If you are excited, it will calm you."
~ Gladstone, 1865

True isn't it? This cup of tea was really calming and comforting, that even on a very hot and sunny day, I enjoyed my cup of tea. Says so in the package, "Twinings Apple, Cinnamon & Raisin Tea combines the finest tea leave with crisp apple, spicy cinnamon and sweet raisin flavours for a delicious warm aromatic drink." The combination of flavors was so good, it was like drinking black tea and eating a cinnamon bread at the same time. :)

I love the images and your words but I'm not so sure that I'd like the tea. A good hot mug of Yorkshire tea is more my style, I think. x

I just love tea!!!! Yours sounds divine.
I think I'd like that tea - a combination of three things I love.

I love the quote! How very true!

However, I do NOT love cinnamon, so that tea would not be any good for me - not cheering at all. ;)
I love that quote! And that tea sounds really amazing. Thank you for sharing :)
My recent post Oatmeal Creme Pies. Enough said.

Jenn, the Foodie

I come from a family who loves cooking and eating. I never had any formal training in cooking and that I taught myself how to cook based on the handed down recipes, but I could say that I can cook good food. In 2008, I started documenting my food trips for my travel blog, and since I have quite enough to start a food blog, might as well put all those food trips in one location. Thus, a food blog is born - thanks to the new Friendster Blogs. However, due to several problems, I was left with no choice but to pack bags again and move here instead. Here's the permanent address, promise! Enough talk, let the food trippin' begin! {Know More About Me}
