Security Blanket's Cookbook Giveaway

When I was younger, I couldn't understand why my parents and my brother would go ga-ga over recipes printed on magazines and newspapers. In many things, I am a late bloomer, as it was just now (well a few years ago actually) that I understood this foodie side of the family, as I also have started collecting recipes.

Vance, the Purple Plum Fairy was lucky enough to have two copies of the Nestle's "Celebrating 100 Years of Cooking with Nestle" cook book and is very kind to give away one. I instantly bolted to read the mechanics of her little giveaway, because I really wanted to own this.

Why? Because...
  • I have been a big Nestle products consumer - I think I am using a Nestle product everyday - that I think this can be a good companion to my cooking.
  • I am a member of the Nestle Food Club, and owning this cookbook is like having a good recognition of being a member.
  • This book is a limited-edition- not-available-in-bookstores kind, and owning one is like winning a foodie jackpot! :)
  • I have this dream of cooking all the recipes printed in one magazine / cook book (yes, a la "Julie and Julia), and I want to know if this is the cook book that could make my dream come true.

So, if you're like me who also want to have a chance of owning this cookbook, head over to Vance's "Security Blanket" blog. Mechanics are printed HERE.

Jenn, the Foodie

I come from a family who loves cooking and eating. I never had any formal training in cooking and that I taught myself how to cook based on the handed down recipes, but I could say that I can cook good food. In 2008, I started documenting my food trips for my travel blog, and since I have quite enough to start a food blog, might as well put all those food trips in one location. Thus, a food blog is born - thanks to the new Friendster Blogs. However, due to several problems, I was left with no choice but to pack bags again and move here instead. Here's the permanent address, promise! Enough talk, let the food trippin' begin! {Know More About Me}
