Foodie 365 | Week 23

This week, I hit the breaking point. I missed not one... but three pictures this week. How did it happen? Even I couldn't understand it, but my guess was that - maybe foods this week have been so ordinary that lunch time I decided I will just take my picture come dinner time, but come dinner time I have already forgotten about it. This week, my third attempt to Project 365 is officially a failure.

Still, here are the four pictures from last week.

I wasn't able to photograph any food I ate while on the road, so I was really thankful that brother cooked something for sister and I thinking we still haven't eaten dinner yet. Thanks, bro.

I received an invitation from Max's Restaurant, and today they launched their upcoming promo, Chicken-All-You-Can to some bloggers. Us invitees got to eat as much chicken as we can, but I only managed to eat two chicken quarters. Whole story about the bloggers' night will be shared in the days to come.

158. Butter Cookies

159. Butter Cookies

My sister is a hoarder. She would keep things as long as she can, but the thing was that, most of the times, the foods she tries to hide will either be eaten by someone else or gets expired. It was 15th of May when she and I traveled to Quezon Province, and that day we bought food products from the province to take home and share to family. The foods I bought were all consumed, and she told us she has no more food left... until mom saw her bayong (bag made from woven coconut leaves) with one pack of food left - the butter cookies. The cookies are still edible (thank heavens), but my sister really has to stop hoarding! :)

159. Pulvoron in Cone

My cousin Jayson went to a job interview in Calamba, Laguna and I sent him a text message asking him to buy me some Shing-a-Ling. He did buy me what I wanted, but he also gave some extras, like this one. Yum yum!

160. No Picture

It irritates me that I failed the project halfway through it, but even if I have already failed this round, I would still continue taking pictures and will just try my luck again next year.

....hmmm, should I just go back to number 1 next week?

I agree with Sarah, keep on doing the best you can and look at each photo as an accomplishment. If nothing else it's a great way to remember your day. Keep it up :)
Thanks for linking up with us this week.

Jenn, the Foodie

I come from a family who loves cooking and eating. I never had any formal training in cooking and that I taught myself how to cook based on the handed down recipes, but I could say that I can cook good food. In 2008, I started documenting my food trips for my travel blog, and since I have quite enough to start a food blog, might as well put all those food trips in one location. Thus, a food blog is born - thanks to the new Friendster Blogs. However, due to several problems, I was left with no choice but to pack bags again and move here instead. Here's the permanent address, promise! Enough talk, let the food trippin' begin! {Know More About Me}
