Tuna for Dinner

246/365 c2 - Tuna with Mushrooms

My brother loves tuna. Whenever he'd pass by the nearby market and see some tuna for sale, he'd definitely buy some, even just a slice or two. His favorite way of cooking it? Pan-seared.

This was taken over a month ago; that time, I wasn't supposed to eat because I had some snacks around 4PM, but seeing the tuna (and the blood line - I love that black part in the fish steak), I grabbed a plate and a slice so I could devour on it. As a side dish, brother just stir-fried some canned button mushrooms added with chili-garlic sauce.

Normally, he would just season the fish with salt and pepper (sometimes just pepper), but now that I have done the blackened tuna (which I will share on Sunday), and he liked it - I guess the good old pan-seared tuna has just upgraded. :)

Jenn, the Foodie

I come from a family who loves cooking and eating. I never had any formal training in cooking and that I taught myself how to cook based on the handed down recipes, but I could say that I can cook good food. In 2008, I started documenting my food trips for my travel blog, and since I have quite enough to start a food blog, might as well put all those food trips in one location. Thus, a food blog is born - thanks to the new Friendster Blogs. However, due to several problems, I was left with no choice but to pack bags again and move here instead. Here's the permanent address, promise! Enough talk, let the food trippin' begin! {Know More About Me}
