A = Apples

Another round starts for ABC Wednesday. Last round, I wasn't able to complete all 26 letters of the alphabet because I went out of town and wasn't able to schedule the posts. Now, I am hoping I could get to finish the whole round.

Apples

I spotted these apples at Market One last Sunday. Taking a look at these apples made me understand how Eve was tempted to take a bite - for really, these apples are eye candies! However, the Washington red apples aren't my favorite - the Fuji apples are. Sometimes it was tricky to buy Washington red apples because sometimes it's a bit cottony inside, while some are crunchy and delicious.

Well, I am not really into apples, but I will surely eat one if it's crunchy, juicy, and sweet!

I like crunchy, juicy apples too. We get Fuji's here too, but my current favourite is Sundowner.

Those apples look LOVELY! I can't stand a mushy apple either. I like Granny Smith apples best. Pretty and bright and crunchy too!

I like the taste of apples in apple pies (in moderation) and apple sauce which we put on pork sandwiches. Can't eat a raw one though.

Ah... Washington Red, are they? They look just like our Red Delicious, and sound the same too. Often cotton-woolly inside, with a tough, bitter skin. But when they're good, they're very, very good. I prefer Royal Gala, or maybe a nice crisp Braeburn.

Jenn, the Foodie

I come from a family who loves cooking and eating. I never had any formal training in cooking and that I taught myself how to cook based on the handed down recipes, but I could say that I can cook good food. In 2008, I started documenting my food trips for my travel blog, and since I have quite enough to start a food blog, might as well put all those food trips in one location. Thus, a food blog is born - thanks to the new Friendster Blogs. However, due to several problems, I was left with no choice but to pack bags again and move here instead. Here's the permanent address, promise! Enough talk, let the food trippin' begin! {Know More About Me}
