Lunch at Gerry's Grill
Who would have thought that at my age and looks, someone would still ask me out on a date? Anyway, I guess I am back to the dating scene, and I was so happy to have met such a wonderful man who treated me with respect and made me feel like I was the prettiest woman in the world. *blushes*
After watching a movie (Quantum of Solace), we decided to eat lunch. I was craving for pizza, but Alvin (my date), said we have to eat rice for lunch, so I just followed his lead. We ate at Gerry's Grill and he ordered Sizzling Pork Sisig and Chicken Kebabs as partners for the steamed rice.
I am not a big fan of the sisig because it was oily, but the chicken kebabs I loved a lot. Too bad I cannot eat the onions because it will surely make my breath stink! Hahaha! We didn't have desserts, but as we walk towards the exit of the mall, we saw this ice cream kiosk and he bought me an ice cream cone of my favorite flavor - strawberry.
Thanks for the treat, Alvin!

Jenn, the Foodie
I come from a family who loves cooking and eating. I never had any formal training in cooking and that I taught myself how to cook based on the handed down recipes, but I could say that I can cook good food. In 2008, I started documenting my food trips for my travel blog, and since I have quite enough to start a food blog, might as well put all those food trips in one location. Thus, a food blog is born - thanks to the new Friendster Blogs. However, due to several problems, I was left with no choice but to pack bags again and move here instead. Here's the permanent address, promise! Enough talk, let the food trippin' begin! {Know More About Me}
