Weekend Eating - Yan Chin Fresh Lumpia

It's Monday once again... time to share something I ate from the previous weekend. :)

I was with my friend Ria and my mom yesterday at the Sidcor Weekend Market in Centris. We got there quite early, so around 9:30am, we decided to take a break from checking out the clothes and other stalls and have something to eat first. Even when the weekend market was located in Lung Center, I have been interested with this food, so for this day I decided to go for it.

The Yan Chin stall sells fresh lumpia, and even if it look a bit small, it was actually packed with so many filling. Aside from the usual mix of vegetables, what made this good was that they also added dried, crispy seaweeds and a generous amount of ground peanuts mixed with some sugar.

My mom and I shared this food and we both liked it very much. It's only p50, so it's very right on the pocket. I just hope they added more sauce, though.

What did you have last weekend?

Jenn, the Foodie

I come from a family who loves cooking and eating. I never had any formal training in cooking and that I taught myself how to cook based on the handed down recipes, but I could say that I can cook good food. In 2008, I started documenting my food trips for my travel blog, and since I have quite enough to start a food blog, might as well put all those food trips in one location. Thus, a food blog is born - thanks to the new Friendster Blogs. However, due to several problems, I was left with no choice but to pack bags again and move here instead. Here's the permanent address, promise! Enough talk, let the food trippin' begin! {Know More About Me}
