Back at Dumaluan

To continue with the vacation foods...

Calamares

Beef

K and I got back to Dumaluan Beach Resort around 7PM. The last food we've had was the lunch along Loboc River, and even though K has bought some biscuits and chips which we munched while on the road, we still felt somewhat hungry. After fixing ourselves and our things (I bought some souvenirs and food items, which I will take home), and after that short drama I had (I thought I lost the plane ticket and I tried to build up a confidence before telling it, when K already has it secured!), we decided to eat dinner.

K ordered a beef dish, while I had calamares. If I could have it my way, I would've ordered the chicken barbecue again, but decided not to, for not only do I fear growing feathers in my skin, I also would like to photograph a different dish. As usual, the images weren't that good because of the poor lighting.

I loved the calamares, and I think I have eaten quite a lot that night. I also got to taste K's food, and it was good, too, but I still loved the food I ordered.

Jenn, the Foodie

I come from a family who loves cooking and eating. I never had any formal training in cooking and that I taught myself how to cook based on the handed down recipes, but I could say that I can cook good food. In 2008, I started documenting my food trips for my travel blog, and since I have quite enough to start a food blog, might as well put all those food trips in one location. Thus, a food blog is born - thanks to the new Friendster Blogs. However, due to several problems, I was left with no choice but to pack bags again and move here instead. Here's the permanent address, promise! Enough talk, let the food trippin' begin! {Know More About Me}
