Celebrate Mothers Day at Max's Restaurant

Three reasons why Max's Restaurant is a great choice where to take your mom (and the whole family) this Mothers Day:

1) Max's Kare-Kare 4 Sharing Meal.
The "4 Sharing" Meals at Max's Restaurant has been a favorite since it was introduced, but to make it more interesting, they change the meals every now and then. Last Lenten Season, they introduced Mongo Guisado and Tinapa Rice as part of the 4 Sharing Meal, and now, they are featuring one of the loved dishes in Max's Restaurant menu: the Kare-Kare.

The Kare-Kare 4 Sharing Meal includes: 4 cups of rice, a palayok of Kare-Kare, one whole Chicken, and 4 glasses of drinks. For only p899, this is already a feast-worthy meal a group of 3 or 4 can share. This promo runs until 23 June 2013.

2) Free Soap from the Body Shop.
Every food purchase worth at least p1500 (single receipt), customers can get a free soap from the Body Shop (choices can be: Olive Soap, Strawberry Soap, or Moringa Soap). This promo will be until tomorrow, 12 May 2013, but diners can still claim their free soap 60 days after that, provided you keep the receipt.

3) Bag to School.
Of course, mommies also deserve good deals on their kids' school items (especially that another school year is approaching), and if you still haven't bought the kids a new lunch bag, this one is very affordable for only p149. The bag is big enough to carry the snacks and lunches kids need to bring, but it is also big enough for the little kids to be used as a school bag.

Happy Mothers Day to all the mothers out there!

Jenn, the Foodie

I come from a family who loves cooking and eating. I never had any formal training in cooking and that I taught myself how to cook based on the handed down recipes, but I could say that I can cook good food. In 2008, I started documenting my food trips for my travel blog, and since I have quite enough to start a food blog, might as well put all those food trips in one location. Thus, a food blog is born - thanks to the new Friendster Blogs. However, due to several problems, I was left with no choice but to pack bags again and move here instead. Here's the permanent address, promise! Enough talk, let the food trippin' begin! {Know More About Me}
