Watching MMFF movies one after another made us so hungry even if we had a large tub of popcorn. It was super late (2pm) for lunch, so when we saw Icebergs coming down from the escalator, we just have to try it out.
The place looks small upon entering, but walking further will take you to a much bigger space at the back. They offer mostly cold snacks - halo halo and ice cream varieties - but they also serve savory meals.
Grilled Liempo
Mom's choice. We loved that it was thick and big, but we weren't so crazy about the gravy, maybe because we were used to the vinegar-garlic dip.
Pork Sisig
Sister's choice. She really loves this dish, and was happy with her choice. It was very flavorful without that much extenders.
Lasagna
I couldn't make a decision what rice meal to eat, so I just went for a pasta dish. Al dente pasta with super meaty sauce... awesome!
Strawberry Parfait
Sister's dessert, which mom and I had a taste as well. I don't know if they produce their own ice cream or not, but any ice cream is good, and so was this.
For a "dessert" place, we were surprised to have yummy and satisfying meals. So great to discover something new, no need to regret why we waited this long before trying their food considering this has been operating for many years now.
