ABC Wednesday | P and Q

I was supposed to share this yesterday, but our Internet connection went bonkers yesterday afternoon, so yeah... another two in one post for ABC Wednesday.

Puck Cheese Triangles

P is for Puck Cheese Triangles

Our neighbor got married to an Overseas Filipino Worker working in Saudi Arabia. Last week, her husband came home and gave us some presents - some chocolates and this - a box of Puck Cheese Triangles. I am not much familiar to some foreign brands, so tasting this took a while, but when I did, I loved it. It tasted like butter... cheese with butter - very easy to spread, a bit light, but oh so creamy and good.  I love spreading it on hot bread as well as melt it on some freshly cooked pasta.

Q is for QQ Milk Tea

Milk tea sure is a big hit here in the Philippines, but it's my sister who's so into it than I am. I don't know what is QQ - if it's a tea variety or an abbreviation, but this cup of QQ Milk Tea was something sister took home one night and just gave the leftover to me. It wasn't cold anymore, but it was still good. I quite liked it, and since this one had some coconut jelly (nata de coco), I enjoyed the texture it brought - it was like eating a snack and having a drink at the same time.

Jenn, the Foodie

I come from a family who loves cooking and eating. I never had any formal training in cooking and that I taught myself how to cook based on the handed down recipes, but I could say that I can cook good food. In 2008, I started documenting my food trips for my travel blog, and since I have quite enough to start a food blog, might as well put all those food trips in one location. Thus, a food blog is born - thanks to the new Friendster Blogs. However, due to several problems, I was left with no choice but to pack bags again and move here instead. Here's the permanent address, promise! Enough talk, let the food trippin' begin! {Know More About Me}
