Pork Chao Fan

Pork Chao Fan

When my siblings and I went to see MV Doulos on its last day, we went to roam around Fort Santiago first. Walking around the fort and me trying to get pictures of my sister certainly made us really hungry. The only row of food places we knew of was the one fronting the Manila Cathedral, and since we were trying to save as much as we could, we decided to just eat at Chowking. Funny that in the last three times I went to Intramuros, I was always eating here! =)

My food of choice was the Pork Chao Fan because it was only 49 pesos including the regular sized drink. During hard times, I really know how to maximize what's inside my wallet. Anyway, I had no complaints about this meal... it didn't have that much pork pieces, yes, but it was tasty and tummy fulfilling. Although, I was hoping I had this with some siomai.

Jenn, the Foodie

I come from a family who loves cooking and eating. I never had any formal training in cooking and that I taught myself how to cook based on the handed down recipes, but I could say that I can cook good food. In 2008, I started documenting my food trips for my travel blog, and since I have quite enough to start a food blog, might as well put all those food trips in one location. Thus, a food blog is born - thanks to the new Friendster Blogs. However, due to several problems, I was left with no choice but to pack bags again and move here instead. Here's the permanent address, promise! Enough talk, let the food trippin' begin! {Know More About Me}
