Lunch at Congo Grille... again.

Congo Grille

I already posted one picture taken on the same day, but it concentrated on one food, while this one will feature all the foods us three girls (mom, sis, and I) ate at Congo Grille last April.

Whenever we eat there, I always order their Crispy Spicy Squid Heads. Yes, it's basically the same as the regular calamari, but I still cannot resist not ordering this one. The beef kare-kare is another Congo Grille favorite, we just love how the dish was just right for our taste, although I still prefer it in the traditional palayok (clay pot). My sister's favorite is the sisig, and is already taking the liking of ordering it during our last few visits in the food place. Actually, their sisig was the best sisig I have tasted.

Whenever our friends go out and have a drink, Congo Grille is always in our list. Good food and reasonable price. ;)

Jenn, the Foodie

I come from a family who loves cooking and eating. I never had any formal training in cooking and that I taught myself how to cook based on the handed down recipes, but I could say that I can cook good food. In 2008, I started documenting my food trips for my travel blog, and since I have quite enough to start a food blog, might as well put all those food trips in one location. Thus, a food blog is born - thanks to the new Friendster Blogs. However, due to several problems, I was left with no choice but to pack bags again and move here instead. Here's the permanent address, promise! Enough talk, let the food trippin' begin! {Know More About Me}
