Perfect Coffee Every Time

Crafting the perfect cup of coffee each and every time is both an art and a science; a lot has to do with the right ingredients used in the proper proportions. It can get complicated – one way to eliminate the guesswork is with a Keurig® Mini-Plus on demand coffee maker. Single serve or on demand brewing systems have changed the way we make and drink coffee and demystified much of what surrounds the crafting of a consistently good cup of coffee.

On demand brewers do not have coffee pots and warming plates or use thermal carafes – instead they brew the coffee directly into a cup, glass or mug. This means there is less to clean and less waste since you brew only what you need and not a drop more. Because the coffee brews directly into the cup it is always fresh, hot and flavorful. Since there is no warming plate you need never again endure a scorched, stale or bitter cup of coffee plus there’s no nagging fear about whether or not you remembered to unplug the coffee maker.

There is no need to scoop or measure coffee because the machines use single serve sealed coffee pods - Nespresso® brand capsules are one example that I found at bedbathandbeyond.com; there are many different formats of coffee pods and not each kind is compatible with each make and model of single serve brewing system. When selecting an on demand brewer it’s best to go with one which accepts a readily available coffee pod format so you are assured of a consistent supply. It’s also important to make sure you like the coffee options available in the pods which are compatible with your machine.

Jenn, the Foodie

I come from a family who loves cooking and eating. I never had any formal training in cooking and that I taught myself how to cook based on the handed down recipes, but I could say that I can cook good food. In 2008, I started documenting my food trips for my travel blog, and since I have quite enough to start a food blog, might as well put all those food trips in one location. Thus, a food blog is born - thanks to the new Friendster Blogs. However, due to several problems, I was left with no choice but to pack bags again and move here instead. Here's the permanent address, promise! Enough talk, let the food trippin' begin! {Know More About Me}
