The very first time I set foot in Enchanted Kingdom, one of the park's exec told us to try their Ice Cream Cake if we had the chance. Before leaving the park that time, my new found blogger friends Ria and Cath tried the cake, but because there were only two slices left, I only had a taste of it (a spoonful).
Nearly a year after that, I was invited once again to the park, and this time, I really made sure I would taste their cake. I sure was a lucky lady for there was only one slice of cake left. I sure hoped there would be choices as far as flavors are concerned, but even if I was left with the fruit salad ice cream cake, I wasn't complaining at all. Having the last slice of cake for myself was certainly a much better reward than finding an Easter egg (it was Easter Sunday that time).
My friend Zen could only look at how my eyes glowed when I was served the cake. He just liked how I acted like a child taking delight in every taste of the cake. It wasn't the best ice cream cake I had (the best will always be that one my dad and I ate at 7am in his office when I was about 12 years old), but eating this somehow calmed my senses. Ice cream cake can be a good comfort food - basically because you were having ice cream and cake, and it was like having the best of both worlds.
