Burger and Fries

Burger and Fries

30 December 2009, mom told us that we will be going to the Manila Ocean Park... just because. While walking in Quirino Grandstand, I asked mom why she all of a sudden just thought of us going to the Ocean Park. She answered with, "If not now, when?" Hmmm... there really was some knowledge to that.

It took us the whole afternoon inside the park. Well, we really have to get our money's worth, so we really took time to check all the aquariums and take as much pictures that we can. It was already dusk when we finished, so we decided to eat dinner there. Our choice of restaurant was the Pancake House - located at the Sunset Quay area of the park. Apart from the very great view of the sunset, we were in for great food, too.

This burger and fries platter was sister's food. I was really amazed at how big it was, and taking a taste from her food, it was really delicious. It was our first time to eat at Pancake House, before we thought their prices were outrageously expensive, but tasting my family's food as well as eating my own choice of food, I could say they had the right to tag their foods that much. It was a great dining experience for us.

i haven't tried burgers at Pancake House--but i'm loyal to their pancakes, with country sausage on the side and coffee. favorite breakfast ko yon when i'm at the Medical City.:p

I love the wisdom your mom gave us. Am considering if I'd get some fries for lunch today, though I have squeeze the oil out and they'd look so wrinkled.

Jenn, the Foodie

I come from a family who loves cooking and eating. I never had any formal training in cooking and that I taught myself how to cook based on the handed down recipes, but I could say that I can cook good food. In 2008, I started documenting my food trips for my travel blog, and since I have quite enough to start a food blog, might as well put all those food trips in one location. Thus, a food blog is born - thanks to the new Friendster Blogs. However, due to several problems, I was left with no choice but to pack bags again and move here instead. Here's the permanent address, promise! Enough talk, let the food trippin' begin! {Know More About Me}
