Mangan at Mangan

Grilled Foods Platter

Mangan

After sister's graduation rites, we went to SM Mall of Asia to eat late dinner. Sister and I hoped to eat at a place we haven't eaten yet, and the first food place we saw in the mall's directory was Mangan (meaning "eat"), and that's where we ate the much needed dinner.

Mangan is a Kapampangan food place, and since they serve group meals, we just chose to have it. This platter of grilled foods include a milkfish, some prawns, mussels, a slab of pork belly and a big piece of chicken. There are also some grilled eggplants that went so well with the burong dalag (fermented mudfish).

The foods were so delicious, but it seemed not enough. We wanted more! =)

Jenn, the Foodie

I come from a family who loves cooking and eating. I never had any formal training in cooking and that I taught myself how to cook based on the handed down recipes, but I could say that I can cook good food. In 2008, I started documenting my food trips for my travel blog, and since I have quite enough to start a food blog, might as well put all those food trips in one location. Thus, a food blog is born - thanks to the new Friendster Blogs. However, due to several problems, I was left with no choice but to pack bags again and move here instead. Here's the permanent address, promise! Enough talk, let the food trippin' begin! {Know More About Me}
