Starbucks at 3:17AM

weekend snapshots

108/365 - Starbucks at 3:17AM

Last Friday night, I met up with people from the forum I always visit online. There were nearly 20 people who attended the meet-up, but there were only two people whom I have met personally prior to this. We ate dinner, chit-chatted and went to a bar in Metrowalk nearly midnight.

Past 2AM, some of us decided to go home, but because it wasn't a good time to commute back home, some us stayed in the area and went to Starbucks where we chatted the night away. I felt hungry, so even if I already bid goodbye to Starbucks, I still ordered something to eat. Their strawberry Belgian waffle tasted great, but the drink I bought - Very Berry Frappuccino - or something similar to that name didn't taste good. The berry (possibly a raspberry) tasted bitter, and the drink itself was bitter as well. I don't think I will drink that again. =)

Jenn, the Foodie

I come from a family who loves cooking and eating. I never had any formal training in cooking and that I taught myself how to cook based on the handed down recipes, but I could say that I can cook good food. In 2008, I started documenting my food trips for my travel blog, and since I have quite enough to start a food blog, might as well put all those food trips in one location. Thus, a food blog is born - thanks to the new Friendster Blogs. However, due to several problems, I was left with no choice but to pack bags again and move here instead. Here's the permanent address, promise! Enough talk, let the food trippin' begin! {Know More About Me}
