M = Mango

Mango Dessert

Mangoes

The mango is one of the fruits abundant in the Philippines. Many different kinds of mangoes are available here and people enjoy eating it whether its ripe or unripe. Personally, I don't consider it as my favorite fruit, but I do eat it once in a while. My favorite is the seed part when one cuts off the cheeks. I like to eat off the flesh from its seed! =) I also like drinking green mango shake, and I used to make delicious mango float cake. Hmmm.. why won't I do that again?

The first picture was a mango dessert I bought from the Salcedo Village Weekend Market, while the lower picture was shot in our province in La Union.

I love mango. You are so lucky to have them growing abundently and to be able to pick them fresh off the trees. Not the climate in the UK for them and they are one of the more expensive fruits to buy here.

Jenn, the Foodie

I come from a family who loves cooking and eating. I never had any formal training in cooking and that I taught myself how to cook based on the handed down recipes, but I could say that I can cook good food. In 2008, I started documenting my food trips for my travel blog, and since I have quite enough to start a food blog, might as well put all those food trips in one location. Thus, a food blog is born - thanks to the new Friendster Blogs. However, due to several problems, I was left with no choice but to pack bags again and move here instead. Here's the permanent address, promise! Enough talk, let the food trippin' begin! {Know More About Me}
