Ice Cream sa Plaza

Ice Cream

We thought it was our last day in La Union, so my sister and I went back to the plaza to take pictures and eat out. After eating this kind of street food that we can only eat in La Union (I forgot what's it called, but we only got to see the kind of street food there), we saw an ice cream vendor. It's been so long since we last ate this kind of ice cream - the dirty ice cream as what the elderly called it because it's being sold in the streets - we decided to buy one for ourselves.

We only had 5 pesos left in our pockets (we don't bring much whenever we go to the plaza to avoid over spending), so we can only have the ice cream on the simplest cone, which was a good thing to have - somehow eating it on waffle cone is some sort of a sugar overload. The ice cream flavors were strawberry and mango... delicious!

Jenn, the Foodie

I come from a family who loves cooking and eating. I never had any formal training in cooking and that I taught myself how to cook based on the handed down recipes, but I could say that I can cook good food. In 2008, I started documenting my food trips for my travel blog, and since I have quite enough to start a food blog, might as well put all those food trips in one location. Thus, a food blog is born - thanks to the new Friendster Blogs. However, due to several problems, I was left with no choice but to pack bags again and move here instead. Here's the permanent address, promise! Enough talk, let the food trippin' begin! {Know More About Me}
