We Are One!

Wow.. time really did fly so fast! I really cannot recall when I first joined LaPis, as I had a little struggle where to put my food blog, but I am happy to have been part of this food blog meme. Despite my many absences, I am glad that I am "present" as the meme turns one.

And since it's LaPiS' 1st anniversary, the foods for this day would be about firsts. I had quite a difficult time choosing what to share as I think most of my "first" foods were already shared, but as I check my files and the archive of my blog, I still haven't shared this one..

Gelatin

Lunch

Enchanted Kingdom has been giving people a real great time for 12 years now, but last May 2009 was the first time I set foot in the place! And if not for another blogger who put up his schedule in his blog, I would have never been part of the event EK put up for 50 bloggers.

For lunch, they served us a fried chicken meal and a gelatin with whipped cream and chocolate. The food taste delicious, but "bitin." Hehehe... anyway after eating, we took part of the Magikalympics - which our team won. Yey!

Mocha Ice Cream Cake

Before the Magikalympics started, one of the park's staffs told we should taste their ice cream cake, so before the vans arrive to pick us all up, we went to the shop to taste their ice cream cake. However, there was only one slice left, so I just took the liberty to take pictures of the cake. I was able to taste it, and it was really good.

Hope I could get back to EK!

Jenn, the Foodie

I come from a family who loves cooking and eating. I never had any formal training in cooking and that I taught myself how to cook based on the handed down recipes, but I could say that I can cook good food. In 2008, I started documenting my food trips for my travel blog, and since I have quite enough to start a food blog, might as well put all those food trips in one location. Thus, a food blog is born - thanks to the new Friendster Blogs. However, due to several problems, I was left with no choice but to pack bags again and move here instead. Here's the permanent address, promise! Enough talk, let the food trippin' begin! {Know More About Me}
