El Pollo Loco

For this week, let me take you to El Pollo Loco in SM Mall of Asia.

El Pollo Loco

Like I always say, whenever we would go out, we would always opt to eat at a place that we haven't eaten yet, so we could blog about it when we get home. =) When we went to SM Mall of Asia last January, we arrived with growling stomachs, so seeing El Pollo Loco just within reach, we didn't hesitate to eat here anymore, after all, we haven't eaten there yet, and we've always wanted to try it.

The place looked cozy inside, and the reddish tones provide that warm feeling. The decorations in the wall made me feel like I was just eating my food in the comforts of my own home.

El Pollo Loco

Fries

My sister and I both ordered their quarter chicken meal with 1 side dish. I had the coleslaw as my side dish, my sister had the fries. Both meals were served with drinks and that circular bread which I already forgot what it's called (memory gap, sorry). For 120 pesos, this one's already a good lunch, but my sister says its "bitin," (not enough) especially the rice.

Flame Grilled

Flame Grilled

Still, the fact that the chicken is flame grilled and the salsa tasted really great is already enough for us to come and eat here again, given the chance.

Oi there's Pollo Loco in MOA? Wow, I love their food too. I had gone to their Megamall resto before, but I think they've closed shop there. Yummy photos, too! =)

Jenn, the Foodie

I come from a family who loves cooking and eating. I never had any formal training in cooking and that I taught myself how to cook based on the handed down recipes, but I could say that I can cook good food. In 2008, I started documenting my food trips for my travel blog, and since I have quite enough to start a food blog, might as well put all those food trips in one location. Thus, a food blog is born - thanks to the new Friendster Blogs. However, due to several problems, I was left with no choice but to pack bags again and move here instead. Here's the permanent address, promise! Enough talk, let the food trippin' begin! {Know More About Me}
