Jollibee Now Offer Creamy Shakes

It's been more than a month since my last post, I feel I have to apologize for the absence, but I do hope you understand my side - it's been an emotional roller coaster for me, but I am doing well now. The past two months, I traveled to Pangasinan twice, and I also got to set foot in Puerto Princesa City (Palawan) for the first time. The out of town trips weren't as lavish as my previous trips, but they were surely memorable and something I will treasure forever.

I will try to update the blog as often as I can (I still don't have a netbook so that is still my biggest blog hurdle), and what better way to start anew than to share something new to all of you dear readers.

Something New From Jollibee

I was one of the first few to try the latest offering from Jollibee. You may not notice it, but year after year, the leading fast food chain in the Philippines is actually releasing a summer treat to help cool down the scorching temperature brought by the summer's heat.

To date, Jollibee offers the float, sundae, and the mix-in treats. This year, it's time for them to offer a creamy slurpy treat - the Jollibee Creamy Shake.

Jollibee Creamy Shake - Strawberry Jollibee Creamy Shake - Chocolate

The Jollibee Creamy Shake has two flavors - Chocolate and Strawberry. The chocolate flavor is a mix of creamy vanilla soft-serve, luscious chocolate, and topped with rich Hershey's syrup. The strawberry also has the same mix, sans the chocolate, and is perfect for people who aren't into chocolate. Both flavors are not only creamy, but has this thick consistency that is quite addicting.

From the get go, it is quite obvious that the Chocolate Creamy Shake is for the kids, while the Strawberry Creamy Shake is for the adults. Well, both flavors will surely satisfy people of any age, but if you ask me, I loved the Chocolate more because it reminded me of my childhood - it was like drinking Sustagen and Magnolia Chocolait (the bottled one), but thicker and creamier.

Jollibee values hard earned money, so please let the images back you out from purchasing it. Believe it or not, this summer treat is very affordable at only 39 pesos per cup! It is such a sweet indulgence you can have every day and is definitely perfect with the current season.

Jollibee Creamy Shakes Value Meals

You may opt to buy the Jollibee Creamy Shake as is, but you can also go for the Value Meals. Pair your Jollibee Creamy Shake with Regular Yum and Regular Jolly Crispy Fries for only 89 pesos, Regular Yum with Cheese and Regular Jolly Crispy Fries for 99 pesos, or Jolly Hotdog Classic and Regular Jolly Crispy Fries for 99 pesos. Offer good until the 30th of June 2014, so be sure to catch it while it's still available.

The new Jollibee Creamy Shake is now available at any Jollibee store nationwide, and is available for dine-in, take-out, or delivery.

The Amazing Spiderman 2 Blocked Screening The Amazing Spiderman 2 Special Screening

PS - I would just like to say thank you to Jollibee for inviting me to the special screening of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 last April 30. I wasn't able to watch the first installment, but I surely enjoyed watching this one with my sister.

Jenn, the Foodie

I come from a family who loves cooking and eating. I never had any formal training in cooking and that I taught myself how to cook based on the handed down recipes, but I could say that I can cook good food. In 2008, I started documenting my food trips for my travel blog, and since I have quite enough to start a food blog, might as well put all those food trips in one location. Thus, a food blog is born - thanks to the new Friendster Blogs. However, due to several problems, I was left with no choice but to pack bags again and move here instead. Here's the permanent address, promise! Enough talk, let the food trippin' begin! {Know More About Me}
