Divine Breakfast

Breakfast

To those who read a post in An Autobiography in the Works (my personal blog), you probably know that I went to the Divine Mercy Shrine with my friend Humps. When we arrived in the church, we roamed a bit, and upon seeing a little food kiosk, we decided to eat breakfast first.

He had the chicken mami, while I opted for the plain lugaw. He just bought a serving of fried tokwa to go with my food. It didn't really taste good - the rice in the lugaw was way too mushy (it actually didn't look like rice at all), and the chicken mami was very salty, but it did manage to fuel us up for a whole morning of walking and picture taking. =)

Thanks for the breakfast treat, Humps!

The chicken mami looks good from the picture. Sad that it's too salty. Anyway I love mami with lots of garlic.

Jenn, the Foodie

I come from a family who loves cooking and eating. I never had any formal training in cooking and that I taught myself how to cook based on the handed down recipes, but I could say that I can cook good food. In 2008, I started documenting my food trips for my travel blog, and since I have quite enough to start a food blog, might as well put all those food trips in one location. Thus, a food blog is born - thanks to the new Friendster Blogs. However, due to several problems, I was left with no choice but to pack bags again and move here instead. Here's the permanent address, promise! Enough talk, let the food trippin' begin! {Know More About Me}
