Lunch at Kenny Rogers' Roasters

318 / 365 - Lunch at Kenny's

Like what I have said in my previous posts, the family see to it that we would eat out whenever we would do the grocery. Thinking where to eat has always been a problem for us, but for this day I asked the family if we could eat at Kenny Rogers' Roasters because it been quite sometime since we last ate there. For those who don't know, yes, the restaurant was named after the country singer, Kenny Rogers.

I always go for their Plate #1 (quarter chicken, rice, 1 side dish and 1 muffin) whenever we eat here. I initially ordered the coleslaw as my side dish, but when the food was served, they gave me steamed vegetables (brocolli, carrots, and sayote) as my side dish. Well, I didn't return it right away, I took pictures of my plate first, before calling out on a staff to replace my side dish. :)

The food at Kenny Rogers' Roasters still hasn't changed since I first tasted it - I love the flavor of the chicken, and the muffin was just a perfect ending to a wonderful meal.

I come from a family who loves cooking and eating. I never had any formal training in cooking and that I taught myself how to cook based on the handed down recipes, but I could say that I can cook good food. In 2008, I started documenting my food trips for my travel blog, and since I have quite enough to start a food blog, might as well put all those food trips in one location. Thus, a food blog is born - thanks to the new Friendster Blogs. However, due to several problems, I was left with no choice but to pack bags again and move here instead. Here's the permanent address, promise! Enough talk, let the food trippin' begin! {Know More About Me}
