As a person who lives quite far from the heart of the Metro, I experienced how difficult it was to shop for goods, our family had to plan a time when to do grocery or clothes shopping. It is very fortunate that as time passed, things are slowly becoming within reach.
Such is what Robinsons Retail Holdings, Inc. is aiming for, by opening community malls in different locations nationwide. At the moment they are operating nine malls - Cabanatuan (Nueva Ecija), Pulilan (Bulacan), BF Ruins, Davao, Laguna, Dumaguete, Imus, and Dasmarinas (Cavite). Branded as Robinsons Townville, these group of malls is not just about convenience, it also connotes a sense of belongingness, being family-friendly, fun, and friendly.
Last Friday, the 14th of August 2015, I was one of the blessed one who witnessed another milestone when they opened their 9th branch - the Robinsons Townville Meycauayan in Bulacan.
The theme was "Carnival," and entering the mall, attendees were in for a fun treat as carnival performers entertained us (the one performing the pantomime was my favorite - he was so fun and funny), and outside the mall were different booths offering mini games for shoppers to try. That same weekend, along with the launch sale in different shops and double point rewards on shoppers' Robinsons Rewards Card, the mall also provided more entertainment by inviting celebrities like Silent Sanctuary, Gimme 5's Grae Fernandez and Nash Aguas, and Jason Dy.
Also present at the event are the driving force behind different Robinsons Townville branches.
Attendees at the event were also treated with great food, provided by CVJ Catering. We had -

The mall is small, yes, but it provides the basic needs of people -

...and the Robinsons Supermarket where you can buy fresh produce, local and international food items, as well as some household items.
Near the Robinson's Supermarket, is where you can also find a baked goods store, a branch of South Star Drug, and a Bills Payment booth. There are also ATMs, spa / salon, quick service restaurant, boutiques, book store, and an amusement center for kids as well as other services designed to meet the needs of the growing community. Everything you need to live conveniently is truly here, and for sure in time more and more will be added to cater to suit everybody.
