Jollibee Chicken Nuggets Crunchers

Hello, foodies!

My weekend has been great - last Saturday, sister and I together with Ria and two of her friends went to Pier 13 to check MV Logos Hope and buy books. It was a very great experience as sis and I got to see former GBA Ship carrying the books (MV Doulos), which they sell to bring knowledge, help and hope to the people of the world.

Yesterday (Sunday), mom and I went to the shops to check clothes on sale and I hoped to find a sling / crossover bag, which I can use for our Ilocos trip next month. The bags were quite expensive, but mom and I enjoyed buying clothes. My closet is about to welcome new tops again! :)

After shopping, mom and I went to Jollibee to have some snacks. I didn't eat lunch that day, so I hoped to eat heavy, but I always eat either their hotdog sandwich or their chicken with spaghetti meal, so today I decided to go for something new. I found their Chicken and Mushroom spaghetti a bit expensive, so I went for their Chicken Nuggets Crunchers. It's not so new anymore, but for me it is.

I went for the one with rice, as it is cheaper than the one with fries. I liked how it looked - very cute and very child-like! It tasted like typical chicken nuggets, but I do love how it was lightly crispy on the outside, yet juicy inside. The BBQ Sauce proved to be a good dipping sauce, but if I have something to complain about - they didn't provide a plate for me. They served the nuggets enclosed in a box, and they gave me a wrapped cup of rice as per order. If I had this one "to go," I would understand... but I was dining inside the store, they should've provided me with a plate, as the box was so small (just enough to fit 5 nuggets), and it would be awkward if I use the rice wrapper as my plate. In the end, I just forced the rice to fit in the other half of the box.

I also ordered for their newest dessert - Sundae Mix-Ins Milo Blast - but the person manning the counter didn't punch my order, so it wasn't delivered to us, and we decided not to make a new order. Maybe I'd try it next time.

It was a so-so foodie experience, but I still enjoyed it because I was with my mom. She had spaghetti and regular yumburger, but I wasn't able to photograph it as her food was delivered first and she ate it right away.

Jenn, the Foodie

I come from a family who loves cooking and eating. I never had any formal training in cooking and that I taught myself how to cook based on the handed down recipes, but I could say that I can cook good food. In 2008, I started documenting my food trips for my travel blog, and since I have quite enough to start a food blog, might as well put all those food trips in one location. Thus, a food blog is born - thanks to the new Friendster Blogs. However, due to several problems, I was left with no choice but to pack bags again and move here instead. Here's the permanent address, promise! Enough talk, let the food trippin' begin! {Know More About Me}
