Blame It On The A-a-a-alcohol

Sweater

I am not much of a drinker, but I am proud to say that I have a very high alcohol tolerance that some of my friends don't dare anymore to invite me for drinks because I would just end up laughing at them because they were already drunk. I am not a beer drinker, though, I am more of hard drinker. My favorite? The tequila.

This drink, which was called "sweater," was the exclusive drink of Zenses Ne0-Shanghai Cuisine in A. Venue Mall, Makati Ave. I was able to taste it when I was invited for the unveiling of the Playboy Philippines' May Cover. According to Johan, the owner of the bar/restaurant, this drink is a mix of tequila, absinthe, a secret liquor, and that something Zenses is known for: liquid nitrogen. Quite sweet, but it was really delicious. However, true to it's name, after a few minutes of drinking this, a person is expected to sweat as it really warms the body. This drink is some sort of a life saver for me as I was able to stay up for more than 24 hours without really feeling sleepy. I guess it was the absinthe.

Jenn, the Foodie

I come from a family who loves cooking and eating. I never had any formal training in cooking and that I taught myself how to cook based on the handed down recipes, but I could say that I can cook good food. In 2008, I started documenting my food trips for my travel blog, and since I have quite enough to start a food blog, might as well put all those food trips in one location. Thus, a food blog is born - thanks to the new Friendster Blogs. However, due to several problems, I was left with no choice but to pack bags again and move here instead. Here's the permanent address, promise! Enough talk, let the food trippin' begin! {Know More About Me}
