Desserts at Chocolate Kiss

weekend snapshots

I met up with new friends last Saturday, and after eating a very heavy lunch at Mang Jimmy's, we went to eat desserts at Chocolate Kiss, located at the Bahay ng Alumni in UP Diliman.

My original choice was the Devil's Food Cake, but the staff said that only one slice was available at the moment. I then chose their cake sampler, but all servings were reserved already. I was given the choice between the Quezo Chiffon Cake and the Kahlua Chocolate Cake. Initially, what we four friends planned to do was to have different cakes so we can share it all, but I am not a big fan of the chiffon cake, so I had the Kahlua Chocolate Cake instead.

Ryan had the blueberry cheesecake, and Kei had the last serving of the Devil's Food Cake... and of the three cakes I have tasted, the best has got to be the Devil's Food Cake. If given the chance, will eat cake there again, and this time, I will sure to get the Devil's Food Cake.

I haven't tried that Kahlua cake from Chocolate Kiss. I always order the Devil's Food Cake. =)

Jenn, the Foodie

I come from a family who loves cooking and eating. I never had any formal training in cooking and that I taught myself how to cook based on the handed down recipes, but I could say that I can cook good food. In 2008, I started documenting my food trips for my travel blog, and since I have quite enough to start a food blog, might as well put all those food trips in one location. Thus, a food blog is born - thanks to the new Friendster Blogs. However, due to several problems, I was left with no choice but to pack bags again and move here instead. Here's the permanent address, promise! Enough talk, let the food trippin' begin! {Know More About Me}
